Who we are
The Mackinac Technology Company’s team of scientists and engineers work with research institutions and other partners to create innovative technologies for applications in building energy efficiency, blast mitigation, and transportation. We develop technologies and transform those technologies into useful products for residential, commercial, and government buildings, consumer electronics, and mobility applications to improve the health, comfort, and safety of people’s everyday lives.
What we do
Energy Efficient Buildings
Our innovations enhance the energy efficiency of buildings. Our products reduce heating and cooling loss through building envelopes, while improving daylighting and occupant comfort.
Blast Mitigation
Our energy efficient window attachment product can be used to mitigate the effects of explosive forces in military and other public buildings to enhance the safety of military and civilian personnel.
Transportation
Our antireflective coating, when applied to automotive windshields, will greatly reduce glare to improve driver visibility and passenger safety.
